We are a senior precision skating team from Sweden. Our team was established in 1988 in Mölndal. This is where the first international precision team-skating competition in Europe was held in 1989. In September 1995 we joined a team from Kungsbacka. Now Team Spirit represents both skating clubs. This turned out to be successful for both parts.

This season, 96/97, we have made a lot of progress. We started in January '97 by taking part in the Swedish championships. We took the silver medal, after Team Surprise. In February we went to Rouen, France, where we competed in the International French Cup. It went pretty good, considering this was the first international competition we took part in together. Just after our return to Sweden, we took off to our next competition in Uppsala, Sweden. This was the Open Nordic Championships. We came in 6th place and we were very happy with our skating and our result. As we had a lot of success this season and we had skated so well in the competitions, the Swedish Figure Skating Association gave us the opportunity, as the second Swedish team, to represent Sweden at the ISU World Challenge Cup in Turku, Finland. We went there to learn, get some experience and do our best. We really did our personal best. Our short program went the best this season. Overall the judges had different opinions in the short program. The ISU World Challenge Cup was very well organized, and we think this was the greatest competition that we have taking part in.
