Stonestreetīs MCC celebrated, as it was mentioned earlier, 10-years anniversiry during 1997. The club was formed by a bunch of mc-riders from Vimmerby. The main part of the guys had allready ridden togheter several years, modified and fixed their bikes in the old butcher-house in Vimmerby.
The thought of beeing more organized came up when the offer to take over the clubhouse from the old bikeclub then.
Stonestreetīs is not a hughe club. We are about 20 members, and half have been members since the start. The bikes are varied. Some rides Harley Davidson, others Norton, Triumph, BSA. The "japs" are Yamaha, Kawazaki, Suzuki and Honda.
Even a Sarolea can bee seen in the mixture of lovelines.
To become a member you need to have a heavy bike and been in our company for a while. It also takes some engagement in the clubs annual events. Membership are though not a something we force to ride togheter with us. Anyone who wants are welcome to join our nighttours and also longer trips. Stonestreetīs protect the MC-interest in our community.

Stonestreetīs MCC are conected with Sweden Motorriders Centralorganization (SMC), that is nationwide. SMC works to protect motorriders right in the society, and work when different discions are made about traffic questions and laws. SMC can be called motorriders union. Internationally there are a union called FEMA where Sweden is conected as one the European contries.
Considering all stupied propotions that the grey-suits here and in EU come up with to limit the motorbikes, itīs nice to know that SMC keep a watching eye on the ideas that comes up, and send a "mayday".
