Some pictures from Svedinos Car- and Airmuseum August 06 2003
August 6 was a fine and warm day when I visited Ugglarp, north of Halmstad. This little village has a large collection of historic cars and aircraft.
The collection consists of about 140 cars and 30 aircraft, many engines and other artifacts. The museum was started in the early 1960:s by Lennart Svedfelt and is now run by his son Björn. For many years some of the airplanes stood in front of the museum and the swedish climate did not do them well. Now however, a new hangar has been built and all the planes are now indoors. A lot of restoration has to be done before they can be presented to the public and it will take a year or two until the new hangar is opened for visitors. I however had the oppertunety to see the hangar together with some other members of SFF, a swedish organisation for historic aircraft. Below are pictures from the old and new parts of the museum.
Also many interesting and unique cars can be found here, but I have concentrated on the aviation parts of the museum.
