How to send a greetings page
 
 Sending a greetings page to a friend is easy! The instructions here
may look complicated at first, but it is really very simple. We just wanted
to put up detailed instructions so that both those new to the net
and those being experienced should find what they need.
Try it and you'll see how easy it is!
 

ICQ Users

  1. Make the greetings page the active page by clicking on it

  2. Right-click in the ICQ-list on the person you want to send the page to and then select "Web Page Address (URL)" from the pop-up menu:

  3. Make sure the location web address in the "Select/Enter URL:" field is correct. It should begin with http://hem2.passagen.se/oddball/ittakes2/greetings/....


    4. If it doesnt: Copy the http-address from the bottom of the greetings page and paste it into the "Select / Enter URL" field
     
  4. Write a little message to your friend(s) in the "Enter URL Description" field

  5. If you want to send the greeting to more than one person - click on "more" at the bottom left corner of the dialog box and then select all those you want to send the greeting to by clicking in the little square in front of their names

  6. Click on the Send button and your greeting is on it's way!

Sending by email

  1. Go to the bottom of the greetings page. Copy the http:// line. Remember to get the whole address up to and including the .htm at the end.

  2. Open your favourite email tool

  3. Address the email as usual to those you want to send the page to

  4. In the message area of the email, type your greeting and enter the http:// address you copied in step 1

  5. Send the email!
