| Welcome to my Site! I work in a financial department for a comapany in Sweden. Examination of internal control and cash management is my special fields. In leisure hours I devote some time to this site. From the very beginning the aim of my site should deal with outdoor life. I like e.g. go up walking in the mountains in the northern Sweden and that's why my site adress is mrwalker. Since 1997 I have devoted a lot of my spare time to genealogy research. Because my name "Ström" is derived from a soldier in the Allotment system (the old military system of Sweden) I research preferably on soldiers and their families. I have allway been interested in history and that interest increases when you got new frames of reference after you have found out your roots.

| I think it's obvious that i have mushrooming and chantarelles in particular very much at heart. I like also walking in the woods in Tyresta National Park and hiking in the mpuntains. I often take a lot of pictures on my tours. You are very wellcome to visit my Photo Gallery.

After I started my genealogy research, I had a pious expectations to find cousins that emigrated to America. That expectations have been fulfiled whith knobs on. We had a really nice reunion in summer 2001. Also that is well documented in a slide show. Planck reunion 2001 .
