We can now give you a review of the new TM M16A2:
The A2 is a very sturdy soft air gun compared to others in the Tokyo Marui series of electrical air guns. Surprisingly  many details are made of metal which add realism and feel to this magnificent gun. Pieces made in metal, beside the mechbox, is:
Front barrel,Front sight,Rear sight,Trigger,Bolt catch,Selector switch,Charging handle, Magazine,Magazine and magazine release button.
Some problems that we noticed when handling the gun was that when we disassembled the gun we found that the barrel were going a bit loose after doing this a couple of times. To fix this you need to tighten the main barrel bolt that is between the forward handle and the rest of the gun.
The battery is a bit loose in itīs compartment in the stock, you can make the battery fit tighter by adding some black electrical tape around it and it will stay in place quiet.
It shoots stable and the EG1000 motor works just fine both when firing semi and auto. We have run about 5000 bullets through it and still not the slightest sign of fatigue or malfunctions like clogging of bullets in the feeding mechanism.
Precision is absolutly stunning for this kind of toy, and we had no problem with the mechbox gap due to to the easy fieldstripping action that everybody else is talking about.
All in all its well worth spending 307$(Campobase) on this gun, if you like big assault rifles that is, it can also be used as a sniper system if you add a scope it definetly has the length to serve as one. But if you want something to use in CQB situations you will probably be irritated about its size, then go for something smaller from the MP5 series.

THE HOP UP ADJUSTMENT
The HopUp adjustment knob is cunningly concealed  behind the ejection port, which opens when the charging handle is being pulled and closes when released.

The results you get by adjusting the Hop is really satisfying, the bullets just sails away for 40-45m, fully visable, but still you are reaching out there.
