This page first saw the light in 1996, when I first came in contact with the brilliant show 'Friends'. At the time I was searching for ideas for a homepage so that I could learn how to use HTML-code. Well it has turned out that I've learned so much more than that but I'll not bore you with it here. One thing though. You probably already know this but I'm what they call a 'Friends'-maniac. :) I decided that 'Friends' was a great subject with lots and lots of information already available. So, I started to make my homepage which I, at the time, thought turned out really great, but I soon realized that it wasn't good enough.. Several months later I decided to redesign the page to make it better. That page turned out a bit better than the previous one but still not good enough.. So once again I made plans for a new page, this time with even more info, pictures, etc. Page no. 3 was made in the beginning of 1998. But only a month or so after making/publishing the third page, I began working on the page you are looking at today. Hopefully this will be the 'final' version of it to. This is the page I'm most happy about so far and my visitors seem to agree to this. I've received several awards, the page has been mentioned in two newspapers and people all around the world have links pointing my way. Even the swedish TV-channel, Kanal 5, who's showing 'Friends' had a link to this page for a while, unfortunately they removed all links a while ago. This was a big loss, as a lot of my visitors came from their page. There is only one thing that hasn't changed through the years and that is the name of this page: 'The Ultimate Friends Page' was the original name and I have no plans on changing it... 'Quote of the week' seems to be quite a popular service. From the beginning it could be found on the frontpage only, but after a while I decided to make a whole new page for it. Today there are about 100-200 people visiting every month. I also have a mailing-list for this service. Since October 5th 1998, 190 people have joined and that's a lot of fun. The meening of this 'History' was to show you all versions of this page, but unfortunately my PC crashed around Christmas -98 which made it impossible to put up screenshots from the previous pages. Sorry 'bout that. :) Anyway! I hope that you will enjoy your stay here at 'The Ultimate Friends Page' and that you will keep visiting this page. Yours Truly!
