1. One song is accepted from each composer
2. Your song must not have participated in any other competition prior to Heavenly music compo. This includes One Hour Compos! You must also wait until our results are posted online, if you wish to compete with your song in any other contests.
3. Songs must not have been released prior to 2000. 4. Accepted formats are: XM, IT & MP3. We now require detailed sample source info, and details regarding other sources (See submission form).
5. Maximum compressed file-size: 6. A proper URL for your song is needed in order to compete. We do not accept songs through e-mail. 7. Metal, hardcore, trash, techno, rock, and other similar styles are NOT accepted in the compo. Contact us if you have a borderline case, and want to know if it may be accepted. If you submit a song of this kind it will just simply be removed. Sorry. Point deductions will be given to borderline cases according to to the following system.
3 point deduction for minor style impropriety. If you violate any of the above rules, your contribution will be removed from the contest, and any title you may have gained will be given to whoever stands closest in line. Hey, rules are never fun, but we need to set some standards. |
