Well it's been a while since the last update :-) I got a mail from Jayson Jaymes of Romeo's Dead. He said that they have just finished a complete album with Davy Vain as producer. He also told me that he has heard some of the new Davy Vain stuff and that it's awesome (You lucky b...:-).
They won't go under the Dragonfly name anymore, but haven't decided on a new one yet. But there is definitely a new album on the way later this year. That alone should be enough to give you all some wet dreams, you crazy VAINIACS :-)
Also I want you to know that I have uploaded the lyrics for the No Respect and Move On It albums. You will find the links from albums sections. Thanks to Dita Burianova for typing them down for me. Also want to thank all you guys that have mailed me over the last year and a half. It's amazing how many Vainfans there still is out there. That counter on the frontpage is messed up by the way. You should add approximately 1500 hits to those numbers.

FINALLY some updates on the webpage. I made some changes with the design, I think it looks pretty cool. Sorry to say I don't have any information what's up with Vain/Dragonfly. But Davy Vain has been in the studio and produced a 7" single for the band Romeo's Dead.
Some other related information. The Swedish sleaze/punk band Plan 9 have recorded a demo of covers. They do a cool version of Vain's Beat The Bullet.
Also want to mention the American band No Respect that released an album a few years back. Guess where they got their name? Yeah, they are major Vain fans and picked the name as a tribute.

The new album is almost ready and it sounds awesome says Louie. They also have a new guitarist named Craig.
Davy has also been producing lot of bands at the studio, The Groove Room in San Rafael.

Davy Vain, Ashley Mitchell and Louie Senor are in the studio now recording the new Dragonfly album. No further news about this right now.
