[Back to the main page] About this Site [Homeland]
Work on this site began on September 6:th, 1998. The Monarch had previously discussed the creation of a web site for his beloved monarchy, but the opportunity for doing so hadn't arose until then. The Homeland site is designed by master hypertext forge (and newly appointed IT Minister of Homeland) Marcus Ekelund.

This site can be viewed with practically any browser. No browser-specific code has been used. All images have an alternative text to facilitate access for the blind.

Any questions, suggestions or bright ideas concerning this site can be directed to the Webmaster, Marcus Ekelund. For issues regarding the monarchy of Homeland, go see the Monarch.

This site is hosted by Passagen.

History of the Site
6-Sep-98: Project started. Main page and graphics designed, layout agreed upon. The Monarch seems pleased.
8-Oct-98: First version of the site is now online. Future looks bright.
11-Oct-98: Added the Constitution, made a few changes just about everywhere...
23-Oct-98: Disaster! The link to the "Built with Amiga"-campaign was broken! Fixed it. The webmaster bangs his head against a brick wall, repeating "Org, not com. Org, not com..."
26-Oct-98: Added the Treaty of Peace with the Aerican Empire (can be found here). Also added the national anthem as a MIDI file on the Constitution page.
27-Oct-98: More links in the Links page (duh...), and a few more nationalities for the Monarch. Also, some confusion about the exact number of Homelandic Bits that make up a Homelandic Crown has been cleared up... Oh, and some constitutional changes as well!
6-Nov-98: Noticed that I've missed putting target="_top" on a few external links. This caused some problem with the V3-URL, but it's fixed now.
11-Nov-98: The official posts of Homeland are now listed on a page of their own, with lotsa flags! A few changes in the Links page, as well.
17-Nov-98: We now have a 3D Minister! Also, some of the flags have been updated.
18-Nov-98: This site has now joined the "Micronation and Virtual Nation Webring". It will be on the list shortly.
24-Nov-98: The Webring is now operational and open for business!
4-Dec-98: The Monarch now has a few more nationalities.
5-Dec-98: Added a campaign banner against the new Swedish Personal Information Law (PUL), "Rör inte mitt Internet". Click the banner for more info and to sign the petition list. [Available in Swedish only]
7-Dec-98: Some changes in the list of official posts. Minor modifications on the main page. Oh, the EMT Minister's e-mail address has changed! =)
11-Dec-98: The official Homeland mailing list, Homeland Forum, is now on-line! Join today! Oh, and a new minister as well... =)
20-Dec-98: Please welcome the Dominance Minister! Some minor changes all around. The Monarch's got a different hair color.
23-Jan-99: Apparently, Internet Explorer flipped a bit when it encountered comments used to simplify the layout of most of the pages on this site. I've changed the comments now, so IE users should now be able to see all the pages. Why wasn't this reported to me?!?
6-Mar-99: Whew, it's been quite a while since the last update! Don't worry, Homelandians, I'll get around to more serious updates in the near future! Since I now have a job, updates may be infrequent.
13-Mar-99: LOTS of changes! Colonies, new ministers, new nationalities... You name it, it's here somewhere! =)
4-Apr-99: Two new ministers, a new advisor and a few new links. That's all for today!
23-May-99: Whew! Was a while since I last got around to updating this old site! Anyway, new ministers and flags galore! A 25% increase in population, as well!
9-Jul-99: A couple of new citizens, ministers and flags. Nothing out of the ordinary.
17-Jul-99: The Minister of Transport is finally listed on the Official Posts page! Sorry for taking so long! =)
5-Sep-99: Another long wait for updates. This time: A new minister, a whole bunch of new links and an e-mail change. Oh, and the Monarch granted me a second title! Go check it out! =)
2-Oct-99: The former 3D Minister is now officially Minister of Dimensions, and he's got a new flag to prove it! The Jack-of-all-Trades Minister finally has her personal flag, and we're now 32 citizens stong!
13-Oct-99: We have a First Lady! Hail Milkshake Asphalt! Other than that, a new minister, a new spiritual leader and a correction. Even since this site opened the 3D Minister (now the Minister of Dimensions) has been listed as "Michael Danowsky". His name, however, is Mikael! This iste has been online for over a year, and no-one has noticed my mistake! Oh well, it's fixed now. From the bottom of my left sole: Sorry, Mikael! =)
