What is Homeland
A monarchy for the Painbrains, the artists, the oddballs, the freaks, the witches, the clowns, the royalties, the alienated, the aliens, the ravers, the trekkers, the furries, the geniouses, the outcast, the punks, the pansies, the goofs, the losers, the blind, the hippies, the anarkists, the wierdos, the cyberbrains, the dudes, the jokers, the harlequins, the mimes, the fossils, the rebels, the poor, the overemotional, the bewildered, the jesters, the mods, the messiases, the buddahs, the Gandalfs, the androids and the demented (plus a whole lot of other boys & girls...)

The Concept
What concept?
Some people say that Homeland is a country like any other country in the world. Well, a very small one, but one with borders and land. But the Monarch of Homeland doesn't actually claim a piece of land, because he recognizes the piece of land his temple is built on as the land of the Swedish monarchy, and the temple where he lives as the property of BGW (the landlord).
Homeland is currently not a member of neither the United Nations or the European Union, but is seeking membership in the British Commonwealth.
You might ask: Doesn't Homeland exist? But Homeland does exist. Inside the temple there is an atmosphere. The atmosphere is that Homeland is all about. In every homelandic citizen's mind there is a piece not belonging to Homeland but being Homeland... In the minds of the people Homeland exists, therefore it exists. It isn't that much different from any other country or state: England, France, Ladonia, Elgaland-vargaland, Botswana, Russia, Bosnia, Equador, Somalia, Australia...

The world doesn't exist, only in our minds.

The Currency of Homeland
The currency of Homeland is Homelandic Crowns (HEK). One Crown is devided into 100 Homelandic Bits.
The Homelandic Crown is bound to the Swedish Crown (SEK), so the value of one HEK is always equal to that of one SEK. In the year 2002 Homeland will decide whether to join the EMU (European Monetary Union) and Euro. A paper currency series of 1 Bit notes will soon be issued. Currently there are about four or five Homelandic Crowns in circulation, but more will be issued in the future. One of the Homelandic Crowns can be found in the currency reserve of Ladonia, another one the Swedish captial, Stockholm, (as far as we know) and onw is included in the homelandic coin collection.

Vexology(About the flag)
[The Flag of Homeland]The flag of Homeland is actually older that the name "Homeland". The colours of the basic tricolour represents Scania/Skåne (red/yellow) and Sweden (blue/yellow). The arms with the red St. George cross on represents England, as the Monarch is a British citizen. The crown above the arms represents Sweden as well as the Monarch himself.
On the early Homeland flags, the tricolour was reversed (red/yellow/blue instead of the current blue/yellow/red). Another example of an early flag design was the three crowns above the arms, but the Monarch reduced them to one to make the design simpler and more clean. There are no fixed measurements or dimensions on the homelandic flag.

  • Contact the Queen (EIIR) and make Homeland a British protectorate, colony or make the Queen our sovereign.
