"Time nears the ends...", Saviour Machine ends their last project, Legend Part II. Legend Part II is the second CD in a triology. The triology deals with profecies and predictions from the Bible concerning the end of time. Vocalist Eric Clayton, the lead figure of Saviour Machine, has studied these profecies for several years and has now together with the band started to lay out the chapters on disc.

The music plays a very important role in the "Legend" project. It is composed to fit in in the different events in history. In the beginning of Legend Part II the Antichrist has just made its entrance. The first seven tracks of the disc are therefore very heavy and hard to digest... Saviour Machine play music that is hard to describe or categorize. On "Saviour Machine II" they play Epic Metal and this CD is a short step towards Legend Part I. I asked Eric Clayton on CRN 98 how he describes his own music. He didn't have an answer... Just like the interpretation of the name of the group they leave the catogorization of the music open to the listeners. Gothic is something that often is mentioned together with Saviour Machine. That is probably the easiest way to describe the music.
The evolution of Saviour Machine's music is unique. Their first official release came in 1993, "Saviour Machine". The difference between it and their last release Legend Part II is amazing. Saviour Machine truely show that they had talent in 1993 but comparing when it to their Legend project it almost fades away. The Legend discs have it all. The production is excellent and the music and the lyrics are fabulous.

"Saviour Machine II" contains a couple of master peices. "The Stand" is a classic track dealing with the different interpretations of scriptures. The beginning of this song is the most powerful guitar solo I've ever heard. Saviour Machine made their last performance during the twentieth century in Ennepetal, Germany the 5th of December. Now they will put all their effort to write the last CD in the Legend project. It will be double CD with 36 tracks and up to 140 minutes of music. The release date of this disc in so far unknown.
