How to get to Linköping
Linköping is situated about 200km southwest of Stockholm and 450km northeast of the Copenhagen-Malmö region. It can be easily reached by air, rail or road. Airports are located in Linköping and in the neighbour town Norrköping. From Linköping airport it takes about 10 min by taxi to the city center and from Norrköping airport about 30 min. It takes about an hour to fly from Copenhagen to Linköping or Norrköping and the same time to fly from Stockholm to Linköping. There are car rental stations at all airports. There are hourly train connections between Stockholm and Linköping and the ride takes about 2 hours.

Abstracts from all fields of cardiothoracic surgery and extracorporeal technology for both oral
communication and poster presentations are welcome.
Deadline for abstracts April 1st, 2000
Acceptance of abstracts June 15th, 2000
Abstracts must be by the congress secretariat no later than April 1st, 2000. Abstracts after this date will not be accepted. Authors are requested to use the abstract form. An abstract book will be published in the final program.

Audiovisual equipment
The conference rooms are equipped with overhead and slide projectors. Video recorders, special AV or computer aided equipmentcan be arranged and should be requested before July 1st, 2000.

Exhibition
A technical and pharmaceutical exhibition will be held in connection with the conference. For details kindly contact the conference secretariat.
