The SATS and SCANSECT Poster Award 2000
The SATS and SCANSECT Organization Committee announce a Poster Award for the best poster presented at the meeting.
All delegates will be able to vote for the best  poster on Friday, August 25, and the winner will get a special prize sponsored by the Congress.

SCANSECT Best Paper Award 2000
SCANSECT is pleased to announce the Best Paper Award 2000, sponsored by Polystan.
The award will be given to the best scientific paper presented by a Scandinavian perfusionist at the 2000 SATS/SCANSECT meeting in Linköping. The prize is Euro 1,000.
The selection committee will be the General Secretary of SCANSECT and a representative from Polystan.

The Karl Victor Hall Award
The award is to be given in recognition of the outstanding contributions of Professor Hall in the fields of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, including his pioneering development work on the Medtronic Hall(tm) heart valve. The amount awarded is 5.000 USD. The board of the SATS Scientific Committee will decide upon the criteria, the candidate of the award.
