Welcome to Kennel Ember

We started out by buying a beautiful puppy from Discovery's in 1991. No, sorry we already had two irish. The first bitch was all mine and her name was Ana di Citadel. If she hadn't let Anders (my husband to be) in that night when we first met..... but she did. Lovely bitch, we called her " the limo " because she was so long in topline .

What happend to the second bitch? Well we had been a couple for let's say 3 months when I had an offer from kennel Copper's. What to do? I didn't really know what Anders thought about one more bitch in the family.

"No problem, can't be any harder than a child !" : he said. We agreed to go up to Camilla the owner of Copper´s and yes, you guessed it, just to take a look. Imagine my surprise when he said: "Let's take her home".

Her name was Copper's Swinging on a star ( Felicia ) She was great fun to train and compete in obedience.

Then there were almost a year of easy living...................until one day I was pregnant and everything went upside down.

You can't live in an apartment on second floor with no elevator, two dogs and a baby. Ok you can but it's a perfect opportunity to go search for a house and definitely to buy a bigger car. Marriage, must be earlier than planed.

Discovery's had a litter and I just went along with a friend and yes, you guessed it, just to take a look.

There she were!!!! Number one only (Isabella) what to do? beg, steal or borrow.... of course!.... a wedding gift for Anders.

He saw right through me, said that he was familiar with the expression "just to take a look".

1991 the year that everything happened

Marriage, honeymoon, new car, new house, prefix, the wedding present and a child in that order.

The wedding gift " Isabella " by Fearnley Warlord and Discovery's Donna turned out to be just the

bitch we hoped her to be. Isabella had a lovely temperament, loved obedience, got a diploma in finding

injured animals and she was a showing bitch to quote Rachel Shaw judging in Värmland, Sweden 1995

" Absolutely fabulous. Would love to own her! Exquisite! "

We were lucky to have three litters from her 1993, 1996 and 1997.

As the Queen of the kennel, she did a wonderful job taking care of the puppies, dogs and bringing joy to the people around her. She will always be remembered.

Finally with these photos of Isabella we would like to say, please do not judge the youngdogs to early and of course the young handlers as well.

Her puppies will take the history to the future...
