Warcraft II review

The plot

The game takes place in a medieval fantasy world where the human forces battle the Orcish hordes for domination over the continent. The humans have the elves and the dwarves for allies while the orcs have the trolls, the goblins and the ogrees for help. After loosing the battle in the first game the humans are in deep shit and have to retreat to the island where their capital is. The orcs who always enjoys a good fight follows them over sea to rid the world of the pesky humans.

My opinion

According to me this is probably the best real-time strategy game ever. It has everything you could wish for in a game, it has an exciting storyline, nice atmosphere, cool units, fun missions and cool cutscenes. It may be a bit old-fashioned today but it still is a very good game. The only things that draw the grade down a bit is that the units from the both fighting parties are mirror images of each other. The game is also to easy, you will never feel really threatened by the computers pathetic attempts to defy your mighty armies.
I give it 4+ skulls of 5 possible.

Boner.
