Shadow Warrior review
The plot
You take on the role of the twisted ninja Loo-Wang, who has some kind of trouble with a gang of monsters (or something). To aid him in his quest he has a katana, shurikens, Uzi's, rocket launchers and a lot of other destructive weapons.
My opinion
I have only had the chance to play the shareware version but what the gameplay concernes it is very similiar to Duke Nukem (same engine). The humour is wonderful, the weapons are very ninjaish, the enemies are dangerous (that's a good thing?) and the levels are well built but nothing special. The boss on the first episode is really a hard nut to crack (or maybe a slippery snake to slaughter) even if it looks a little bit silly. Ovrall an avarage 3D-shoot 'em up in the same class as Duke Nukem 3D and Blood.
I give it 4- skulls of 5 possible.
