Quake review

The plot

Something has gone terribly wrong in a research facility researching in slipgates (a kind of portal). When they finally got the slipgate to open there came hordes of monsters through it. Of course you are the only guy who can send the monsters back to hell (or where ever they come from). So you start to blow the monsters away with help from your trustworthy shootgun (original, don't you think?).

My opinion

The game got cool creatures, ok graphics, ok sound, good gameplay, a lousy story and levels without any logic what so ever. The game is putting the multiplayer option in first hand and the single player in second. Some people liked it, I didn't. Without any goal or at least a connection betwen the levels you soon loose intrest. The game play is still good but something is lacking.
I give it 4- skulls of 5 possible.
