Mortal Kombat II review

The plot

After loosing the last tournament Shang Tsung returned to the Outworld to face his master Shao Kahn. Shao Kahn spared his life and gave him his youth back to help him try to win the tournament once again. So another tournament began, this time in the Outworld. The fighters from the first tournament entered once again, everybody except Kano and Sonya who were caught by Shao Kahns henchemen. Instead there is a few new fighters like Kung Lao, Barakka, Jax etc. etc. Overall there are 12 fighters. After batteling all the other fighters you face Kintaroo, Goros replacement (looks like Goro but is a hell of a lot quicker). When he is defeated you have to face Shao Kahn himself to become Champion.

My opinion

This is the best of the Mortal Kombat games this far. It has better gameplay than the first game and a story that is almost as good as the first one.
I give it 3 skulls of 5 possible.

Boner.
